Sakura Falling in the Wind is the second mission in the Eastern chapter of Story Missions. All the Mononoke from the previous mission return with the addition of the Wind Weasel. The Wind Weasel has an incredibly fast speed as well as a powerful attack.

Hayate: Hold it, something's coming. Yojiro: You! Oni! Bastaarrddss!! Anna: O-Oni? Is that a type of mononoke, too!? Hayate: Quite so. They are mighty even among mononoke. We must help! (Wind Weasels appear) Anna: Gyah!? Wh-what is this? The wind...! Hayate: That whirlwind... Wind Weasels! These mononoke are dangerous to face alone. Be wary. Phyllis: What an amazing slash! Cutting such a thick shaft in half so easily! Phyllis: But when it comes to swords, I can't lose! Yah! Hiyah! (Clear) Yojiro: Thank you for your help, but who are you? Your clothes… You look like you're from the mainland... Anna: Yes. We chased the monsters here... Are there monsters attacking this village? Yojiro: Aye. You see, mononoke suddenly came boiling out of the pond... Yojiro: Everyone fought them at first, but it was all we could do to get the women and children out. I came to see if anyone was left behind. Anna: So you came back here and were attacked by the mononoke? Anna: It seems the cause is the pond. Let's go there!
